Installation

The Plume installation package contains the following files. Click on “setup.exe” to begin the installation.

A dialog box (Figure 2.2) will pop up; click “Next”.

Click “Browse” to choose the installation location.

After selecting the installation path, click “Next.” Once the installation is completed, click “Close” to exit.

The installation package of Plume includes the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6. If the system lacks the pre-installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6, it will be first installed, followed by the Plume software.

The installed Plume folder is shown in Figure 2.5.

After the installation, registration is required. First, click on the “Plume.exe” file. Note: this file must be opened in administrator mode! Users will see the following dialog box when no valid license is provided:

Click “Apply License” to generate a document file named “Requestcode.txt” and send it to the email address “tuyaken@hotmail.com” to request a software license. You can find “Requestcode.txt” in the software installation folder.

Once you receive a valid software license, verify the license file and the license’s validity period will be displayed. Click “OK” to complete the verification.
